I graduated from Seton Hall University’s Counseling Psychology PhD program in 2011, completed predoctoral clinical internship training at the NJ VA Healthcare System (Lyons, NJ) and postdoctoral training at Clinton Therapy and Testing Center (Clinton, NY). I fulfilled licensure requirements for NY and NJ in community mental health and college mental health settings. In September 2014 I returned to the NJ VA as a psychologist on the Women’s Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. Upon relocating with my family to Buffalo, NY in the fall of 2017 I began work as a volunteer for Physicians for Human Rights and the University at Buffalo’s Human Rights Initiative conducting forensic evaluations for refugees seeking asylum. In May 2018, I opened my private practice in Amherst, NY. I have been active in professional organizations throughout my career in NJ and NY. I joined the Board of the Psychological Association of Western New York (PAWNY) as Communications Chair in 2018, served as President-Elect from June 2018-June 2019 and as President from June 2019 to June 2020.
